You might have seen many of your favorite actors/actresses using some sports cars in some of your favorite movies but the thing is that the names of actors/actresses have been revealed at the end of movie but no credit goes to the cars. The cars used in the movies should be credited as the stars because they were also involved in most of the acts. In this article I am going to discuss five models of the cars which have been used in the hit movies of their times and they might be out of market these days still known to the people because of the names of movies that is spoken with them.

1.    Mustang from “Bullitt”

Steve McQueen is still remembered as one of the coolest guys of Hollywood and the movie Bullitt has been a very award winning movie of its time and in that movie McQueen has used the car Mustang GT390, the year was 1968. The Mustang cars have earned a great business in that time and even now the company’s sports cars are loved by the people. The Ford officials have received a great response of customers after that movie and then they named the series as bullit for about thirty years. Throughout the movie you’ll see McQueen wildly riding the car and this was a reason most of the people purchased this car and appreciated it like a star.

2.    Aston Martin from “Goldfinger”

The fame of James bond is not unknown to anyone and the cars used by him during the thrills of his movies are also characterized as stars. Same is the case with this Aston Martin DB5 which has been used in his two most famous movies “Goldfinger” and “Thunderball”. This car had achieved a status of a style icon after its fantastic premier in the hit movies by James bond. It is not only gorgeous but the capabilities were also outstanding when compared to the auto markets of that time.

3.    Dodge Monaco from “The Blues Brothers”

The Dodge Monaco was considered as the most luxurious car for the use as squad and this impression was greatly increased after being used in the movie “the blue brother”. Specification wise it was considered as the most ideal car for that time with a 275 hp and a 7.1 liter V8 engine. Due to some very stylish shots captured in the movie the car has achieved a status as a star or we can say style icon.

4.    Alfa Romeo from “The Graduate”

The Graduate movie had got uncountable fame after its release and Dustin Hoffman had also received many awards for this movie, the car used by him in that movie was this Alfa Romeo and the movie has got very fame because of being used in that movie. The perfect scene which has showed up this car at its maximum was that when Dustin relied on this metal car to reach the church and stop the marriage, other than this the car had also played some very key roles in the movie and up till now everyone remembers this car in relation with that movie.

5.    DeLorean DMC-12 from “Back to the Future”

This is another fantastic sports car that was used in that time favorite movie “back to the future” in 1981 and this movie was classic one in its own style and this car had played fantastic part in that movie as well. Even now people relate that movie with this car and apart from movie this car is also very dashing and stylish. The standard steel car had many unique features including an unpainted stainless steel which was overlaid onto a fiber glass body and gull winged doors.

These were some of the very stylish and classic cars of their time which had got huge fame because of being part of some fantastic movies. The fame of these cars is still alive because they remained part of some hot favorite movies of the 90’s period.
