If you are a motorcycle fanatic, then no doubt you are aware that the company Siemens always tries to raise environmental awareness, and to help America stay on the right side of the green economy. Now listen to this – Siemens teamed up with Orange County Choppers (the famous custom motorcycle manufacturers) to build “The Siemens Smart Chopper”. This is the first custom electric motorcycle of its kind, and it was featured on American Chopper, the hit TV show, on November 5th.

Not just that, next year, the motorcycle will be auctioned off, and the proceeds will go to a charitable cause for the benefit of the environment. But hold your breath for now, because the Siemens Smart Chopper will be showcased at many tradeshows and conferences in the next few months.

The episode was aired on American Chopper, on TLC, on Thursday, November 5th, at 9 pm EST. The motorcycle has been touring the country since its unveiling in August, and has been participating in many events with Siemens. If you are fan of this motorcycle, you can take part in the various competitions for a chance to win the bike.
