In a conference call on Monday CEO Sergio Marchionne said that Chrysler group could bring several Fiat based compact vehicles even sooner than expected. The statement that was provided by Marchionne states that “We’ve run extensive clinics on the first vehicles. We’re 98 percent there on styling,” he said. “My expectation today is we’ll be able to get this car into the market Q4 2011. We continue to work pretty aggressively on timing”.

According to a rough estimate Chrysler’s sale declined 30 percent in October and 39 percent through the first 10 months of 2009.
