The Chevrolet ZR1 is one of those blusterous models of the brand which have got the whole world’s attraction for quite a long period of time and it seems that the Zo6 didn’t get successful to reach up to the mark but now the company is trying to bring something new for Zo6, the new carbon edition of Zo6 which is going to be developed by Chevrolet has been announced to get some of the goodies of ZR1 like the Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and magnetic select ride control system. The standard features will be provided for the limited carbon edition of Zo6 and which the company will use to celebrate its 50th anniversary of the Corvette’s first 24 Hours of LeMans race.
The 2011 Zo6 carbon model will thus come as a new dashing concept with a retuned exhaust system and another exciting change will be the carbon-coated Syncros that will add up to the style and performance. According to the chief engineer of corvette Tadge Juechter “For track use, the Z06 Carbon is the best balanced Corvette yet. It combines the lightweight and naturally aspirated Z06 engine with the road-holding and braking of the ZR1”. The new concepts will be available in later summer and it will surely come as a big hit from the company’s side.
