Ford Ka Minicar

The ford Ka minicar and the Ranger pickup which was once thought to be available in America are now clearly announced not to be available in the American car market. This was announced by the CEO Ford Allen Mulally and his exact words were: Ford Motor Co. will not sell the Ford Ka minicar or the global Ford Ranger pickup in the United States.

Previously Molally had shown some signs of the launch of these two cars in US but now due to some reasons Mr. Molally has clearly stated that there will be no sale of these two cars in US. One of the reason which he stated was that the car of the Ka was more smaller than the previously launched Fiesta in US (the smallest car up till now)  and now this car will not make up to the American’s choices. The fiesta is getting its real success in US and this car as according to the developers will not be able to achieve such a success.

This was all about minicar the global ranger which is a new pickup is expected to be launched in 2011. Now Ford is looking for the options to occupy compact pickup segment. Now we all have to see; if the planning of Ford company succeeds or not.
