Volkswagen Polo

Volkswagen Polo is the series of supermini cars manufactures by Volkswagen. From the time of its first manufacture the company is giving its best to make quality changes in the design and technology. The result of this much effort is that the newest version Volkswagen’s new Polo has got the award of the 2010 European car of the year award.

The main competitor of this car is the Toyota iQ and by winning this award it has beaten that car in the race.  This is a superb achievement by Volkswagen’s and this is definitely going to give the developers some more spirit to make even better models in the future.

VW CEO Martin Winterkorn has shown his happiness on this award and according to him this fifth generation car was designed to address the expectations of customers with some remarkable standards, according to him “We are naturally very pleased to see our efforts validated in the form of this award”.

The award is also the best European award which is given on the votes of journalists from 23 European countries and every auto company struggles to get this award. The VW polo was deserving car for this award due  to its efficient new and energy saving components.
